Continuity Editing Video Shoot

In a group of 4, We had to produce a short film with continuity editing. In our groups we discussed which activity the group project we were going to do to try and make the best film possible. We used a lot of over the shoulder shots and and long shots to show the audience were the setting takes place. We kept continuity the shots by unkinging the audio and the actual footage and used the razor tool on the footage and switched between them when the next person starts talking and left the audio alone to link it with the character dialogue. We had issues with the sound of the footage out side as we had to make sure that there in no wind to drown it out and we had to make sure that there was no people around who don't want to be in the film. In Premiere Pro, we used the razor tool to cut of the footage that can be used later or we don't need. we had issues trying to get our footage to display and we resolved this by saving the footage on a USB to Premiere Pro could recognize it. Overall, in the project, i have learned a lot more about continuity editing and I'm going to use it a lot more in my future projects.
